An Introduction to MQTT: Why HTTP isn't the King of the Internet of Things


As the growth of the Internet of Things explodes, the fundamental protocols underpinning it are changing. In particular, the dominant protocol for IoT globally is now MQTT, or Message Queue Telemetry Transport. In this presentation, Christopher will provide an overview of the MQTT protocol, compare it with HTTP for devices big and small, and explain the advantages adopting MQTT provides application developers seeking the best user experience for IoT.
